Hey guys, we need a volunteer to test our headers on an x trail. The design is for a QR20 or 25 engine made for a sentra spec v, we want to see if its a direct bolt on for the xtrail.

its a shorty 4-1 designed to eliminate the catalytic converter. A long runner 4-2-1 can be designed as well but it might not be a bolt on affair and would necessitate cutting of the stock pipe.

For the volunteer, there will be a free dyno baseline run and then another run after the header is installed to check the power increase.

stock or lightly modded xtrail (filter and/or muffler only) 2.0 or 2.5
will do just fine for the test.

There is no obligation to purchase the header after.

its a new brand, Hot Pipes, we're pretty sure there will be gains, juts how much is what we want to find out. Very Happy

I would prefer a stock xtrail to keep the variables to a minimum.

my comments re the hotpipes headers of speedlab.

so far im satisfied with the increased performance of my xty. the Dyno resulted a max of 12hp and 20 torque increase in my xty's specs with the Hotpipes Headers of speedlab installed. i can feel the power and kick around 2500-3000rpm and up. that power and kick was not there when i had my stock headers installed. i feel the added horses in my xty now after the headers was installed. but im still observing my xty's performance further. for now this is what i see and feel on my ride with the Hotpipes Headers of Speedlab.

so far sid im really happy on the results. but still thinking if i will buy the headers. bitin pa sa budget. hehe Laughing
