yeah, normally there is knock from the engine with lower octane gas. you can have the dealer or independent shops adjust the timing via the ecu if they have a computer capable of doing it. _________________ ROYAL PURPLE Full Syn oil change promo

| Had that experience also using a low octane rating, aside from the knocking sound, a slight delay in response of the engine. |

Shell's E10 is rated at 93RON, Petron's E10 has a 95RON rating but a little more expensive than Shell's E10.
I got 7.5km/li mixed city and highway using Jetty's 95 Octane which is pretty good, considering I was driving it hard for the first few days after filling up, slightly better than what I got using the 93 Octane of Jetty, where i got around 7.2km/li.
Next I'll try Petron's XCS and see what happens.
BTW Sea Oil is coming up with a 97 Octane Premium gasoline _________________

| Used to be a petron e10 user. Now its either blaze, v-power, or xcs. Our Xty runs better with hi octane fuel. Mileage is slightly better too. |
