Guys, I already talked to Ms. Darryn of Bantay Kalikasan regarding the Club's interest in joining the campaign to Save the La Mesa Watershed. Here r some project packages offered by the foundation which I think will fit the group:
ADOPT A TREE
A. One Tree: Php 250.00
- Bantay Kalikasan adoption certificate
- Naming rights
- Free entrance to Eco park for 1 pax

B. Twenty Trees: Php 5,000.00
- Bantay Kalikasan adoptive certificate
- Environmental Awareness Lecture
- Naming Rights
- Free entrance to the Eco park with guided tour for 20 pax
- Treeplanting/Nursery activity

C. Fifty Trees: Php 12,500.00
- Bantay Kalikasan adoptive certificate
- Environmental Awareness Lecture
- Naming Rights
- Free entrance to the Eco park with guided tour for 50 pax
- Treeplanting/Nursery activity

D. One Hundred Tress: Php 25,000.00
- BOI Certification, Bantay Kalikasan adoptive certificate
- Environmental Awareness Lecture
- Naming Rights
- Free entrance to the Eco park with guided tour for 100 pax
- Treeplanting/Nursery activity
- Complimentary boat ride at Eco Park for 100 pax

Let's run a survey for which option to go; A, B, C, or D

BTW I already made arrangements with Ms. Darryn and our schedule will be on May 3, 2009, 9:00 AM sharp at the La Mesa Watershed.

Is ClubX turning Green? Or are we just paying for our sins? HAHAHA! JOKE!

I hope so! Next activity could be "Linis Kalikasan", where we get to clean up a place and do camping afterward, or clean up the beach front, etc.

More power to ClubX, and there is no better time to be "Green" than under the leadership of President Mike, the "Greenest" guy I know! Hahaha!
