any of you guys uses fuel additives? the ones that promises to clean your fuel injectors, and some even the complete fuel lines.
i have tried it before in my rav4 because it had some 180,000km and it seems to have some positive result, i dont know kung psychological effect lang din.
my x trail have 47k kms now and i am thinking of putting some additives in. what do you think? is it worth it or just a waste of money?

IMO, it is just a waste of money... it would be better if you would de-carbonize your engine..

de-carbonize is to clear your engine of carbon deposits usually cause by incomplete combustion... Casa recommendation every 40,000kms... here in the phil, you can have it service at Nissan U.N.. don't know though if you have it in Qatar..

+1 for de-carbonizing Very Happy had it done to my car at 30k, you will actually see the foam come out of the cylinders brownish at first then clear at the end. The technician will let you look into your cylinders pa and you will see how clean they are. Afterwards, they'll even recommend you run it on SLEX because its like breaking it in again. There IS a difference and its definitely not psychological Very Happy I'm getting it done again at 60!

Its around 4800 Very Happy I think its a private company thats authorized by NUN, you'd have to ask the other casas why they don't offer it Sad

sorry ROYTAB ngayon lang ako nagka time mag internet. anyways, my x trail is pretty old, 2003 model and got it second hand in 2008 with 30,000 km on the clock. the previous owner gave me the maintenance booklet, but i am not following it anymore, sanay naman na din ako mag DIY . but in your case you should follow those maintenance schedules, if i had it brand new, i would definitely do it.
maybe gawin ko yung 60,000 km check. pag nagka budget. its 50,000km now.

we use the bluechem fuel treatment in the shop. it's ok naman and should only need to be used every 1 or 2 years.
