heat shield for what ? maybe you mean a heat wrap !

i think with a design like that, heat is still trap inside the engine hood, therefore no significant result..my opinion lang po..

better get a CAI than the box you wer planning . The CAI has more HP gains bigger chamber and cooler air ! Very Happy

hirap na mag CAI, kakatakot mapasukan ng tubig ang engine... I sometimes pass flooded areas pa and also go off road a little pag out of town.

and i've already bought and installed the short ram haha.. happy naman ako.. nabasa ko lang na rinerecommend to put a heat shield

marami, pero sa honda lang nakikita ko.

yes, may silbi yan, especially if your filter is very near the engine, like our xtys. thus, sucking hot air.

you can have the shield custom made naman if wala ka mahanap. either sa tinsmith or sa fiberglass.
