While some people do this for off-road clearance, please bear in mind roytab that if you exceed the OEM diameter of your wheel+tire combo...

1. your speedometer will no longer be accurate (I don't know how strict they are on speedlimits in KSA but this may be important to you)

2. you accelerate the wear and tear on your suspension components due to the heavier weight of a bigger tire

hope this helps!

Good day folks,

Hope I'm not hijacking this thread, but just thought I'd post it here rather than make a new thread......

With a black colored xtrail, I'm deciding between a 18" Rota P45f or the Rota Torque. However, I'm leaning towards the P45f in black color because it has an aluminum color lip which I thought would be a nice contrast in an all black vehicle & mags - oks lang ba yung ganitong setup? Or would the all black setup would somewhat make it look kinda "dirty" or brusko ang dating?

Never had a black vehicle nor black colored mags before - so medyo nag eexperiment lang ako sa utak ko Laughing

Also, with 18" mags - would a 235/50/18 be ideal? Wala naman ba problema sa turning radius ng vehicle ?
Can anyone recommend 18" tire brands na hindi naman mahal? How much po each?

Salamat po Very Happy

hi macdon, most of us here use 235/50/18 tires.. dunlop is good.
re black xtrail with black mags, you can look at the ride of X5 in the member's ride section for you to visualize..

the dunlop lemans is kinda noisy(for me), am just waiting for it to wear out before buying another set prolly bridgestones.

Personally I prefer the P45Rs over the P45F because the spokes are curved and gives you a more aggressive look, personal preference on my part. Too bad they're only available in 18 x 9.5" variants, although it'll fit, it might be too heavy and performance will suffer.

I got to call Wheelhaus marketing in Evangelista & got the ff quotes:

Rota P45f.........24k

Forenza.........5k each; 20k set of 4
Nangkang......6k each; 24k set of 4

Trade-in value of stock xtrail mags/tires.........7k

Are the choices above ok naba?
Any other recommendations?

Those are reasonable na. Go for the Nankang's.

Just a question guys, how would an 18x9 with 235/50/18 look? What should my offset be?

Based on my experience. Using a 235/50/18 on an 18 x 8.5 wheels is exact. It might still look ok on an 18 x 9 but that will depend on the tires that you will be using. As for the offset, try to get a +35.

Hi X2, yup the +35 offset was what I had in mind. Any other suggestions on tire brands? Prices? Thanks!

you can try dunlop or bridgestone, but that really depends on what you want and they way you drive.
