A couple of weeks ago, i happen to travel the stretch of NLEX and had a brief stopover at gasoline station.. i was amused by the offer of Easytrip ( tag used to lessen waiting time at the toll booth) from the previous price of P1999, it was now down to P1099... wow nice offer, so i decided to get one. it was pre-loaded with P300 worth of credit and was to be activated the next day,the promo girl told me., so i understand.. I was able to use it a couple of times , so i know that the balance would be around P50 pa.. Last sunday, when i went to NLEX again, i passed by the lane for EC Tag, there access denied, red light is on , gate won't open, causing a jam in that lane, all of the cars have to back up to transfer to the next lane with teller but also for EC Tag users also.. i was advise to transfer to the next lane because hey said "no more load " na daw, ok so i load up P500 at the toll booth and there i go... when i reach the end of NLEX about an hour and a half later (nag brunch muna sa Jollibee), i used the dedicated toll booth again but to no avail, DENIED access again, pile up of angry motorist at my back again backing up, i transferred again to the toll booth with teller again, he checked my tag, yes, may load nga and i showed him the receipt of the P500 load i just put in, checking and checking to no avail, wasting about 15minutes of time( the other convoy car is already at SCTEX na, pinagtawanan tuloy ako ) , hindi raw EC Tag yun... STRESS TAG!!! i end up paying again a toll fee with cash...

anyway, that is not the end of the story yet, when i went back to manila the next day, i called up the Customer Service hotline of Easytrip.. the lady on the other line told me that yes there is load and that the there is nothing wrong with the tag.. the only reason that it failed because it takes time to link the load, at least 2 hours daw.. HUH? 2 hours, bakit ka pa mag load tapos hindi mo rin magagamit agad, it doesn't take you 2 hours to travel NLEX!! another thing why it didn't work the first time it has P50 load is because may MINIMUM Balance Of P150., kung walang minumum balnce , kahit P36 lang ang gagamitin hindi raw puwede. HUH? bakit ganyan? So, bumili ka na ng tag worth P1099, tapos may P150 na minimum balance so, in effect bye bye na yung P150 mo kung hindi mo na gagamitin dahil sa STRESS and hassle to load up these things!!

In conclusion, it's your choice kung gusto niyo to pay cash na lang sa toll booth or kumuha ng STRESS TAG...

boss mike, yung blood pressure mo. tumataas na naman. hahaha! not worth it pala yang tag na yan kung ganyan din, ipit na nga pera mo sa pagbili nung card and ipit ulit worth 150 pesos. parang EC money on their part. kaya EC tag yung tawag. Crying or Very sad
