Hi to ALL!
Baka naman po pwede nyong i-share comments nyo re: taiwan made strut bar. Medyo shock ako sa presyo versus original strut bar like tanabe which costs more or less 7K wherein yung taiwan made is only less than 2K. I'm wondering kase aside from the price anu pa ang difference between the two other than also the "pogi points". Does the taiwan made provide the same effect as those of tanabe or other orig strut bars? Do you recommend this taiwan made in case you're in a budget?
Lastly, do you recommed po ba to put strut bar? What are its benefits?
Thanks in advance! |

Taiwan strut bars are ok. They provide the same effect. And like earlier said, less pogi points lang.
Whether you need one or not is a matter of preference . . . do you enjoy the soft ride of the Xtrail with good cornering . . . or do you prefer a stiffer ride with better cornering abilities. In short . . . comfort or sporty?
Hope this helps. _________________

Guys,
Please check we found two kinds of Taiwan strut bars (paano ba ako mag post ng pix...hehehe hirap sa Image..thingee.com).
Both have the word "XTRAIL" in the middle pero we found out the one na embossed or stamepd (meaning you can feel the letters) is actually made of good quality aluminum which is OK and you can see the quality of the welds. Yung isa sold in Taiwan and marketed from Taiwan is made in Xiamen, China. The emboss is cut (parang cut into the metal). This is heavier and made of a thick aluminum bar na parang sa pinto ng house.
Problem with the second one is that it flexes (so useless to stiffen the ride) and the hole carrying the main bolt will is not sturdy enough.
Take care when choosing. We will soon launch a XTRAIL bar built to Japan specs pero made in Taiwan. It was installed at the accessory parts model car we had at the SUV School. The diff is that we use aircrraft quality 6061-T6 aluminum. Pricing is not yet done but I know it will be very competitive.
Thanks! _________________ X-TRAIL owners are lucky. They are driving a Skyline and they do not know it. (And a truly capable off-roader too!) |

Our parts manager just confirmed with me (ginulo ko siya on a Saturday evening) that the strut bar will be available within the 1Q of next year. Pricing I will announce later but Club X members (regulars) will get a special discount from me AS LONG AS YOU BOOK YOUR ORDERS EARLY. I will announce by PM and SMS the pricing. Thanks everyone! _________________ X-TRAIL owners are lucky. They are driving a Skyline and they do not know it. (And a truly capable off-roader too!) |
