if i am not mistaken lpg is not really good for aluminum head/block motor due to the extreme heat is producing. might be able to save in the short terms. x-trail surplus engine are hard to find and is extremely expensive. Expect to pay around P100-120T just for the block alone for a 2.0 variant

Let me get back to everyone about the LPG conversion to an X-TRAIL. I found it to be basically OK. But we need to verify. The Tartarini system is so far good and used in X-TRAILs in Europe.

Speedlab's conversions are one of the most CLOSEST TO GASOLINE PERFORMANCE retrofitted LPG kits. Not only do you get the Speedlab expertise you also get a good price on the kit.

Don't know how safe ang LPG, its flammable gas in high pressure tank. Too risky and a potential danger to other people in the roads.

Government or some private orgs should regulate or test these systems. It doesnt mean if its used in developed countries that its safe. People there follow rules and, regulations are strictly implemented.

Also, LPGs do contain sulphur-substances which attacks metall surfaces and could lead to corrosion, maybe of exhaust system...
