i would just like to know from you guys whether you use distilled/purified or tap water in mixing with you coolant for your radiator. in my case, i had a bad experience with my other car before using tap water because it creates mineral deposits which eventually let to its early replacement (radiator). that's why i'm only using distilled/purified water for my coolant.

yup, any brand will do for as long as there's ethylene glycol on the coolant. ratio i think should be 30% coolant 70% water. for me i personally prefer prestone. i just pour 1 cont. on the radiator and the rest water.

I use Caltex Extended Life Coolant. It has a new ingredient called Carboxylate and it's good for long term use unlike the regular Ethylene Glycol coolants which need to be replaced every 2 years. Caltex coolant lasts for 5 years or 250,000 kilometers. Add it to 50% Distilled Water. You can go as low as 30% coolant to distilled water ratio.

motul has 5 liter containers which should be good for most cooling systems and retails for 1400 in the shop.
