tried both, you can pretty much skip "step 2". You really don't need to buy the step 1-2-3, just buy a good cleaner and a good last step product and your set. IMO both brands are good, Mothers FX Synwax really works with light colored paint like silver and white.

Mostly by using the products and feeling gipped that some of them only last a week after you 3-stepped the car by hand! _________________

| Two things to look for >> Shine and dept. Also a well maintained car (yung alaga sa detailing) will have minimal swirls, will have a smoother surface, and will almost always have great shine and dept. |

Hmmm... this is a very good question but i think this is subjective. Based on my experience Meguiar's has a good detailing line like their compound, polish, and yellow wax combination. Then you have their 3 in 1 cleaner wax polish and carnauba combination. But my favorite for maintenance is Mothers... i've tried their reflections line and ganda ng results. Another good thing about Mothers products is that it doesnt leave as much wax dust after wiping off the wax. Dagdag trabaho kasi yun e especially for me e ako i apply 2 to 3 coats pa when i wax my car. One thing lang that's not good here in the PI is we dont have that much of a selection when it comes to car care products. Meron lang tayo is Meguiar's and Mothers, then konting 3M. There are lots of products out there that are really good. I have another wax i use that you guys might want to check out sa net. i got this at the SEMA show. its called wax frenzy.... i saw this guy waxing this vintage car grabe sa kintab... so i asked about the wax... apparently carnauba wax yun for speedboats so yun protection is designed to stay on longer. imagine babad sa salt water yun e. share ko lang. but guys remember carnauba wax will not give your ride a shine. pang protection lang yan. _________________ DO IT SIDEWAYS! |
