2 weeks ago, my wife's officemate was held-up and carnap along pearl drive , ortigas..6 pm.

modus operandi.: a guy in a fx pointed to my wife's friend that he had a flat tire at the back wheel. So, the man went down to look at his wheel and there, hold-up na.. sinakay siya sa likod ng car, pina withdraw sa kanya yung pera sa atm, then dinala siya sa malayo , hinubad, tinali at tinapon sa madilim na lugar... na carnap yung car... when reported to pasig police, sabi nila, it was the 2nd of such event within the month in that area...

so guys, beware... uso pa rin yung ganyang modus operandi... huwag basta basta bababa sa car, even if you thought nasa ortigas ka , hindi ka pa rin safe..

Here's a similar story. This happened late last year, a friend was a victim of a hulidap carnap in Mindanao Ave at broad daylight. She was stopped by a policeman accusing her of violating traffic. The good thing is, she pulled over several meters from the patrol car and walk towards the apprehending officer. While arguing for a false accusation, the police together with his cohorts hurriedly took her car and sped of leaving their mobile patrol. Take note guys...these criminals are all in police uniform, not just the black polo shirt with police markings but authentic pnp uniforms and they're using a pnp patrol car. This situation is really bothering. The question is...where & who can we run to? Crying or Very sad
