Good day folks,

Hope I'm not hijacking this thread, but just thought I'd post it here rather than make a new thread......

With a black colored xtrail, I'm deciding between a 18" Rota P45f or the Rota Torque. However, I'm leaning towards the P45f in black color because it has an aluminum color lip which I thought would be a nice contrast in an all black vehicle & mags - oks lang ba yung ganitong setup? Or would the all black setup would somewhat make it look kinda "dirty" or brusko ang dating?

Never had a black vehicle nor black colored mags before - so medyo nag eexperiment lang ako sa utak ko Laughing

Also, with 18" mags - would a 235/50/18 be ideal? Wala naman ba problema sa turning radius ng vehicle ?
Can anyone recommend 18" tire brands na hindi naman mahal? How much po each?

Salamat po Very Happy

I did a photoshop of a black 17" Momo Win mags on the actual black vehicle - any comments po?

Sagad yung design ng momo win outward - so basically walang lip. But then again, this 17" may just look like an 18" Razz

Will the silver/chrome lug nuts be enough accent to match the chrome in the front grille as well as the door handles?

those momos might look different if actually fitted on the black xty though...and they do look wider than 17".
i was thinking of something more or less like these momo pairs for a black xty:

Salamat sir Eboy Very Happy
Actually, daughter ko ang pinapagawa ko ng photoshop - at wala akong patience jan hehehehe Razz she whips it up in about 5 minutes, so impress ako at madaling makita ang result. Very Happy

Between both mags, I would go for the Tensblack rather than the strike - however, both are still "more bling" than I would like.

I'm actually envisioning non-silver mags as I think the typical silver is a bit too common nowadays.......but not too flashy to the point that it obviously stands out like a sore thumb Razz

While I still havent seriously considered other designs/brands - I think the Momo Win is a good candidate for my consideration. It isnt silver which makes people see you've modified the stock and its not too flashy that it stands out either. A subtle change that blends well with the vehicle as a whole & not just a shiny addition.
In effect, it creates its own character & identity - which is the consideration that I'm gunning for Very Happy

Ma-drama ba? hahahahaha

haha good kid your daughter!
you're right, i also find them a bit 'blingy' and showy - the wins are great for a subdued mod effect.
i also prefer the grayish metal & bronze types, hindi nga common as you said and sporty/tuner ang dating.
nways, thanks for the ideas bro. have a nice day & good luck with your search!

I could be mistaken, but is the stock mags of our Xty Enkei brand?

I was in a neighborhood mags dealer earlier and was introduced to a preowned set of 17" Enkei "sporsch" which looks identical to a Benz mags Rolling Eyes

I dont know if its a 2pc design, but it has a "made in japan" at the back with the embossed Enkei logo that seems part of the casting. Plus, its lightweight Shocked
Too bad as I forgot to bring my cell with me so no pic - but the mags has a chrome lip but the center design is gunmetal in color. When I got home, I searched the net & found this:

http://www.pandagarage.com/wheels%20page/June08/Enkei%20Sporsh.htm

I couldnt find any pics of the sporsch with the center gunmetal color, so I attempted to photoshop the mags but made the center design in black color:

Does it look like a Benz mags? I know the silver one looks very similar, but after searching the net - there seems to be various cars that have this mags on their rides.

BTW - what is the current value for the stock 16" Xty mags going for nowadays?
