I have Nissan keys with chips coming in pero its on the 1st week ng June pa. Actually, our dealers have a database of all the cars they sold. Just give them your VIN and technically just give them a blank key and they can have the key cut and programmed.

That's what a friend of mine did when he lost his keys on his Cefiro. This was done in Nissan Ortigas, IIRC. Now another friend of mine, same car lost his keys as well. He was asked to replace the key on the ignition, trunk and doors to the tune of 25k++. So better ask your dealer if they can retrieve your VIN.

^VIN- Vehicle Identification Number. Ah great you have a spare. Actually you don't have to remove the ignition. All you need to do if you have the blank key with chip is to have it duplicated then the programming has to be done sa Casa or if you can request for home service.

Most modern cars have this transponder chip as a passive security feature. Meaning your car won't start if the key is not paired with the immobilzer. No idea rin ako sa programming charge ng Casa but there are independent shops who can do it for you. Try to search for Motor Doctor in sulit.

Maaring makopyo yung physical form ng spare key mo sa bagong susi and this will allow the new key to be used to unlock the doors and turn the ignition, pero if hindi naka program yung chip sa loob, it will not be able to start the car.
