My wife and I bought a new x-trail. On it's 1st 1k check-up, we scheduled an appointment at 8 am on March 2. Upon arrival at Nissan Westgate, we were shocked to find-out that our pick-up time for 1k check-up, APPOINTMENT, was 2 pm.. We did not complain.

At exactly 2 pm, I approached the service advisor Jas only to be told that the unit was NOT ready. The reasons given were 1. the replacement seat adjustment knob was still being awaited, 2. the ICE/GPS has not been fixed.
I told them that had they informed me during the 6 hours wait, I could have personally fetched the replacement parts at their Laguna plant 4x over and still made it back by 2 pm.. NOBODY MOVED for 6 hours.

I texted the service manager, a certain efren hiponia 3x at the number he personally wrote on my warranty booklet, 09228351425, in order to elevate the matter to him, but hiponia did not even txt back let alone call.

I wasted 1 whole day and had to leave my unit. I even had to be fetched by my wife.

To add insult to injury, as of 9:46 am today, March 3, nobody from Nissan Westgate Alabang has bothered to call me on what time I can pick-up my unit, or maybe the next day, or the next or the next.

The public should learn from this lesson.

Sorry for your unfortunate experience dcdlaw! But i'm actually not surprised! Read my story. Sad to say, that's not the end of it!

I agree with you both. We bought our 2005 nissan x-trail at nissan westgate.



I can say that the service has seriously deteriorated in-terms of communication, friendliness and openness to suggestions.

So sad to read this... Sad Nissan Motor Philippines should not tolerate this kind of service from their dealers. I hope someone from Westgate reads this and takes quick and positive action before the Nissan name is tarnished. Sayang talaga all the good press the X-Trail brought to the company.

Yup Nissan Alabang seems thier service is bad, when i was with Nissan Alabang to buy air filter, spark plug & oil filter i noticed a customer seems angry. I approached him & he told me that he brought his Sentra for repair (accident). Noong kukunin na nya yong sasakyan napansin nya na ang nilagay na R/H side mirror assembly ay 2nd hand hindi bago kaya nagagalit yong customer.
